How do you thank a teacher?
We're not quite sure. But we know it's time somebody
tried. Somebody like us. Because we know from experience that American industry couldn't exist without
them.
We've seen their graduates look for the fingerprints
that identify a nucleus of an atom to help us manufacture
better gasoline. We've observed them bend large crystals
to make possible more acc}lrate x-ray analysis. We've
watched them work long hours toward the development
of an economical fuel cell.

Each one of these engineers, chemists, and physicists
has one or more college degrees. But, long before college,
someone encouraged his inquiring mind, fired his burning
desire, and prompted his self-discipline.
Thank you.
