About

The Moore Memorial Public Library's Digital Archive was created to provide access to some of our library's more historic holdings.

Staff and volunteers are steadily digitizing photographs, documents, yearbooks and telephone directories from the archive to capture and make available these materials to researchers and our community.  Items can be browsed by collection, by exhibit, by tag, or by item.

Moore Memorial Public Library is actively collecting photographs and documents such as letters and diaries, that help tell the story of Texas City and it's people and places.  If you have items that you would like to donate to the Moore Memorial Public Library's Digital Archive, or have questions on how to use our digital archive, please email MMPL's Local History Librarian.
